Common Types of Cockroaches in Bangalore

American Cockroach

Brown-Banded Cockroach
Small (13–14 mm), tan with distinctive lighter bands across the wings. Prefers dry, warm areas — bedrooms, living rooms, behind picture frames, and inside electronics. Often missed because it avoids kitchens.
